Dr. Hoffman, a medical doctor and impassioned healer, is contributing to the revolution in conventional medicine. Chelsea Morean-Wright RN BN

Chelsea joined the Hoffman Centre for Integrative Medicine in 2003 as Clinical Nurse Manager.
This role has allowed Chelsea to combine her passion for complementary health care, medical background and obsession with organization to ensure a safe and efficient environment for practitioners, staff and clients. She works
closely with Dr. Hoffman in the creation and implementation of new protocols and
procedures for emerging clinical therapies, and
ensures that staff and clients receive comprehensive education and support.

Prior to her employment with the Hoffman Centre, Chelsea completed two years in the faculty of Science and a Bachelor of Nursing degree, with distinction, from the University of Calgary. After her degree, she spent three years consolidating her critical care nursing skills at the Foothills Hospital in Gynecology/Oncology. She then made her transition into the integrative medical field with two years at the Centre for Preventive Medicine.

Since joining the Hoffman Centre, Chelsea has had the opportunity to attend a number of continuing education courses including:

• Local Conferences on Autism, Nutrition and Personal Development
• Ozone/Oxidative Therapy Training in 2007 with Dr. Shallenberger

Dr. Arden Baker, MSOM, ND

Dr. Baker – a healer, guide and coach – offers a unique approach to complementary and alternative care. With a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Life Sciences from Queen’s University, she embarked on a six-year concurrent course of study in which she earned her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM). She has since complemented her formal education
with advanced training in a variety of integrative therapies, including:

Dr. Baker strongly believes that the onset of chronic disease can be prevented through sound lifestyle choices and stress management techniques. As a general practitioner, she can assist you in the management and treatment of both acute and chronic conditions. Her areas of specialty include chronic disease, cancer, diabetes and inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis and dental issues.

As an integral part of the healing team at The Hoffman Centre, in addition to her private practice, Dr. Baker performs electrodermal bio-energetic testing using the Biomeridian Electrodermal testing apparatus. Using this state-of-the-art equipment, she can assess the body to determine which organs are in balance and which are in need of support, and provide you with detailed information about food, chemical and environmental sensitivities, as well as heavy metal toxicity.

A native Calgarian, Dr. Baker has enjoyed reestablishing herself in the city while enjoying the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies. After ten years away, she realized that her love for golfing, hiking, skiing and traveling ideally suits a life in Southern Alberta. She anticipates many wonderful days in the sun enjoying the activities she loves, as well as learning a few more, like fly fishing!
